Shanti Stupa

Perched atop the steep rocky ridge of Changspa at 3,609 meters (11,841 ft), Shanti Stupa is a two-tiered white-domed Buddhist monument consecrated by the 14th Dalai Lama to promote universal harmony. Featuring golden Dharmachakra reliefs and unhindered 360-degree vistas across Leh town, Namgyal Tsemo, and the Stok range, it is Ladakh’s premier vantage point at sunrise and sunset.
