Shanti Stupa

Built under the global Peace Pagoda mission to celebrate 2,500 years of Buddhism, the monument enshrines holy relics of Gautama Buddha formally consecrated by the 14th Dalai Lama.

Architectural Marvel

The monument features an elegant two-tiered architectural design synthesizing Japanese aesthetic minimalism with traditional Tibetan Buddhist symbolism. The circular lower terrace enshrine a vibrant golden relief of the Dharmachakra Buddha turning the Wheel of Dharma, while the upper tier is intricately carved with pictorial friezes depicting the Lord Buddha's birth, defeat of Mara, enlightenment, and final attainment of Mahaparinirvana.
