Fotula Pass

Reaching a pinnacle of 4,108 meters (13,478 ft) on the Zanskar Range, Fotu La is the highest mountain pass along the Srinagar-Leh Highway. Offering sweeping vistas over brown arid ridges and the distant moonscapes of Lamayuru, the pass is celebrated for its sweeping asphalt switchbacks and dramatic trans-Himalayan horizons.
